About me
Hello, I'm Sarah Limcaco, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Calabasas, California. I embrace a Both/And philosophy, acknowledging that we can experience grief and joy, anxiety and hope, strength and vulnerability simultaneously. My goal is to support you in navigating these complexities without judgment.

Since 2016, I've been dedicated to guiding individuals, couples, and families through life's challenging transitions. My specialties include:
- Grief Counseling: Assisting those coping with loss, including young widows and survivors of suicide loss.
- Anxiety Therapy: Providing strategies to manage and alleviate anxiety symptoms.
- Life Transitions: Supporting clients through perimenopause, menopause, and the demands of the Sandwich Generation.
- Parenting Support: Offering guidance on parenting challenges and supporting families of special needs individuals.
I earned my M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and hold certifications with CAMFT and Pepperdine, ensuring a high standard of care. My therapeutic approach is warm, intuitive, and tailored to each individual, incorporating:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Emotionally Focused Therapy
- Mindfulness-Based Therapy
- Trauma-Focused Techniques
I work with children (6+), teenagers, adults, and elders (65+), fostering an inclusive environment that affirms LGBTQ+, non-monogamous, and neurodivergent individuals. My practice in Calabasas offers a comfortable, private setting for meaningful therapeutic work.
Whatever challenges you're facing—be it loss, transitions, identity shifts, or the daily responsibilities of caregiving—you don't have to face them alone. Together, we can work towards resilience, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose.
